Camera's

#1 Postby Amanzi » Thu Apr 10, 2003 10:52 am

Are you the old fashioned camera man\woman who takes film in to be developed, or are you a digital camera owner?

I love my digital camera. I just got a Cannon Powershot, it is so nice to be able to see what you have shot right away and then do cool stuff to the pics on the pc. Of course I went the digital way so I can send photos back home instantly. Whats your preferance?

Digital - only pain is remembering to charge the battery and having it charged when those spur of the moments pictures happen.

Sony camera here.

I didn't vote because I use both. Every time I go to grab my camera, I actually grab both and then take the regular film to be developed and download the others on my computer. I'm really nutty...when I get the pictures developed, I also get a cd. Oh well, I have lots of memories!

LOL southern. I have more cd's with pictures on them than anything else! I lost a whole box of photos in South Africa when I left them in a garage that had a leaky roof.

The only real digital cameras are still over $2,000. I'll use my film camera until they get more reasonably priced! Digitals are fine for computer/web use but try and blow one up to 11x14 and see how it looks :-)

I couldn't vote either. We have both. My Wife prefers the Canon (film), and I prefer the Kodak Digital.

I look at it the other way Stephanie... as soon as digital catches up with what film could do in the 19th century I'll go digital! :D

EDIT: I did not vote yesterday... however voted just now (10:49 PM EDT) for rather using a digital camera. I do not take pictures, but would think I would enjoy using a digital camera more than a film camera.
