wOO HOO Yay!

#1 Postby Josephine96 » Wed Oct 20, 2004 9:09 am

Today is my 2nd day off.. woo hoo.. :)

But more importantly.. when I go back to work tomorrow.. I get my 1st Wal Mart PAYCHECK! :)

It's only going to have my orientation day on it.. But it'll definitely feel good to have some extra $.

Check this out.. Normally my bank takes it's maintenance fee out around the 17th or 18th of every month..

Yesterday {the 19th}.. I went to go deposit a check.. and I was joking around asking 1 of the tellers.. "how much money do I owe the bank"

She said.. "Mr. Krueger.. you just beat the system lol.. You still have 26 cents in your bank account" lol.. So I am still happily above water :)

woo hoo :)

You need to be depositing them checks like there's NO tomorrow, because if you take out too much, you start bouncing checks.

I'm aware of that Jeremy.. I am now safely above water and have 35 dollars and change in my account.. and tomorrow's check will give me probably near 70 dollars and change or so..

I'm quite stable.. and doing OK.. I just needed to get that 1 check in there to save my butt from going underwater :)

Ahhhh, the good old days.... When $35 in your bank account allowed you to feel that all is good and you were financially sound. Surely there's a few more "oldtimers" out there who remember those days...

You mean the good old days when gas was 15 cents a gallon and they checked your oil and tires and gave you glassware or tickets to the amusement park. The good old days when 35 dollars was the monthly rent.
