Maybe I'm "strange", but...a lady, trim and svelte, wearing a short waist-length jacket and fitted sheath skirt just above the knee...with a beguiling slit on one seam for "ease of movement", and displaying a coy, "knowing" smile as she walked ever so enticingly across the room...THAT, mes amis, is "sexy".

How to impress a woman is easy...

1) refer to her as a lady at all times, think of her as the same

2) treat her with love, honor, and respect

3) treat her as an equal

BUT...it goes both ways.
If a gentleman follows those three guidelines, he should also be treated as her knight in shining armor by his lady.

It can be done...my sister and brother in law's (Becky and Dave) marriage is a shining example :)

Hmmm...very interesting topic.

Slim attractive lady that shows up in a leather mini, or tight leather pants, or shiny clubwear that's figure-hugging ...

Ok, I'm stepping away from the PC now...

LOL....SF. *SPLASH* Here is some cold water for ya!

Funny about what people find "sexy" I know my husband will take a long flowing skirt over a short one.... But if I want something nice then I put on my hotpants.. (would never leave the house in them)...ROFLMAO!

And this, for the ladies...if you want to know how "he" will treat YOU, watch how he treats his mother...this tells all.

Seriously speaking.I am a Mature man,of impeccable taste in women. My ex wife is 42 and looks 30...very beautiful. She carries herself in a well mannered, friendly and feminine way.Subtle yet striking.Stunning, yet slightly innocent.Lovely in Denim or Satin. She applies makeup perfectly.
No hint of under or over doing it.She keeps fit, eats right and knows her wines. She knows fashion,China and Crystal,Flatwear and Stemwear.Classy.
She has a 'scent'..near the nape of her neck.I never could forget that. Not ever.
She lathers her skin in oils and lotions each morning...no matter how busy.
She attends Church on Sundays after clubbing on Saturday Nights, dancing. She listens well.Shops for her man.She can handle a car as well as I...or Sail a Boat in rough seas.Never phased.Cool and calculated. She could Snowski as well as I,better form actually, she's a Native of Colorado morphed to Cali.,Killer Combo!Never dingy or high maintanance..never nuerotic..until her nerves finally got the best of her last year.
It can be done.I know.I have impeccable taste. And she was well rewarded for her efforts, always.Compliments,Flowers for no reason at all.A phone call..her voice always soft and inviting.Caring and loving.
Her way with Children or Puppies was just as sincere..just as attractive.
It is what I refer to as:'The Package".
She has it in spades.I wish her well.
Maybe..just possibly there is another for me in the future.I dearly hope so.

I just recently met up with a lady a little older than myself and looked like it was going to be a great future for us after talking for some time beforehand. After an absolutely fantasic weekend in Savannah, circumstances beyond my control occurred shortly afterward that ultimately broke my heart. I'm still not over the heartbreak b/c I truly fell in love. I believed fully she was my true soulmate. However, I only wish her the best and success to everything she chooses to do. I am like you that maybe, just possibly there is someone in the future for me as well, and hopefully with the same identical interests/tastes and everything that I dreamed about just like I found in her (for she gave me the best memories of my life which I will cherish for the rest of my life)

I am sorry for that my friend.Truly.
I was married for 20 years, last 19June.Three Boys later, she is the not only half of my lifetime as my best friend, confidant and lover...she stole my heart. She is the Mother of my Children. For that, she earns my unconditional respect.I am glad.I have what many never find.It is gone.but not lost.
With Hearts a glad and fun and pure as ours...we will find our way back to Romance...I was built for it.
I've always said,I'm a Lover,Not a fighter.

Thanks, ArizWx for your story and support.

Though, 'tis better to have loved and lost than not loved at all. (I definitely know the meaning of this very well now). I totally treasure the time that she and I had together, even though, it was brief, but the memories will last a lifetime and then did I really know the true state of happiness.

Hopefully, both of us will find our respective "soulmates" very soon.

Of all the topics going around right now, this one's a riot! Even better than the woman suing her hairdresser yesterday. This board is great...
