Typhoon Nock-Ten continues to move toward the Taiwan area with winds around 115 mph (100 knts). In the last few images it looks to be becoming much better organized and intensification look to be happening as we speak. In the long run Nock-Ten, which means bird, will move away from Taiwan and affect the Japan area as a weakening system. Stay tuned for more information.

This was an special informative advisory from the Japanese Typhoon Channel. Remember, we are going to the 11th!

It's kinda weird to see such a vast area like the NWPAC and yet still have itty bitty typhoons form.

What was the smallest typhoon on record?

WOW. A western Pacific major typhoon actually looks like a major Atlantic hurricane instead of a NIGHTMARE CYCLONE.
