Never wished I could take back a message, but have wished I could have restated something. Have made some people upset by their interpretation of my written words.

I have a few times...mainly on some sports sites...when I'm particularly passionate after a loss...but, I don't worry what other posters really think...everybody has good and bad days, and I think most average humans out there are all alike and can easily understand this...

That's just it. If we feel we don't want what we said in a thread to remain, we have
to contact a mod. or admin. to delete it. Then they may say that the post is fine. It
isn't what the thread contains, it is whether or not the member wants it on the board.

* SIGH * Figures, there obviously was a reason for this response to something said on the first page. For some reason or another I can't figure out what it was.

"They may say" that. But have you asked?

I have no problem with deleting a member's own post per their request, without judging it or asking questions. You say take it out -- it's out. It's been done for me before I was a mod. :)

You can PM us when another member's thread offends you and we may edit or delete it. Likewise, you can PM us about your own posts, for whatever reason, if you don't like what you said or no longer want it on the board and we will take care of it for you. That's what we're here for. :)

Unfortunately, Sean, you have a lifetime of passion connected to loss, i.e., dem poor Saints. Of course, I share your pain - Who Dat!!
