How are members finding Storm2K?

I assume many are coming from Yahoo! and other search engine sites. I am not sure what other ways are possible.

I still see alot of people that are joining from TWC. Definately e-mails and word of mouth.

Word of mouth, meaning those they know that may be interested? I assume e-mail would be another method. I am not sure who I would e-mail that would be interested.

Yes, Stephanie, this does seem like the "Off-Topic" forum of old at TWC. I think it is a good thing. Hopefully I will not start a problem starting threads like this. It has developed a discussion which I appreciate.

Well, I've been digging up long lost friends from TWC chat days. Looking thru past emails from 2001/2002 just so I don't miss someone who might like to join. The ones lately I've contacted are:

Alicat
Boomer
Bunch
Jan130

and of course:
TLC

Think that's it off the top of my head....sure hope they join if they haven't already.

Stephanie you are right about the people from TWC are the same now here but the difference now is that this board has much more alternatives than TWC has and there is much more fun here than at TWC by much.

How many people joined from my harrassing emails - with the link to this site - or me spamming chatrooms with this link.

I have tried to contact some of the old gang from storm2k chatroom on talkcity and gopbi - if you guys have anyone you want me to contact - just PM me and I'll do it. Hence my title - PUBLIC RELATIONS DIRECTOR - Smile

I don't think that Storm2k will mind this thread. I think that they want to know also and they realize a good majority of the people that came here originally were escaping "D-Day" also!

Thank you, ticka. I appreciate it. Some topics that may be insigificant to some, aren't insigificant to everyone. In fact, we can only start discussions by brining up issues to discuss.

I agree, Luis. There are a lot of different forums here that TWC rightfully couldn't include and then it even got worse during January and on "D-Day" -- Wednesday, February 5th, 2003.
