This is neat!

I was looking at forecast models this morning, and clicked a wrong link. Notice how everything around the North Pole rotates counterclockwise, while around the Equator it rotates clockwise.
The atmosphere is all liquid, and this image is similar to some of our sister planets.

Interesting that it shows a closed off Low in the SW Caribbean at 240 hour. 12Z GFS has been showing also. Loses it, comes back. Loses it, comes back. :roll:

Anything beyond Day 5 on the GFS take with a grain of salt... :D
