I was in SC for the last couple of weeks and bought regular unleaded for as little as 1.75 and as much as 1.81. Here is NW Florida, it is over $2.

What about you?

1.92 was the last I bought it for and that was low compared to others in the area.

$1.93 here for regular. My heart goes out to all the people who use natural gas for heating their homes this winter.

Diesel fuel is also well over 2 dollars a gallon. Something needs to give and soon.

$2.14 here now - highest I have EVER seen it in Indiana, even higher than the gouging right after 9/11. I'm also not looking forward to my gas bills this winter - I'm going to have to keep the thermostat on 65.

You got it george, the aspholes DO have us where they WANT us.....the sad part is, the (above mentioned name) KNOW we will now pay ANY AMOUNT for gas, I SERIOUSLY doubt we'll EVER see gas go below 1.80 gallon, I mean WHY should they drop it :red:

They are well over $2.00 a gallon here in Orange County (just southeast of the L.A. metro area) ... highest I saw was $2.65 a gallon for the premium octane gasoline a week or two ago. Haven't been by a gas station since then though.

I'll be shocked if it goes back down more than 10 cents. I think at least $1.70-1.75 is the new normal. :grr:
