Recent news reports confirm that she died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Whether it was intentional or not, they still don't say.

Maybe I am bit judgemental, but it sounds to me that it was intentional. However, she may have been in a state where she really didn't know the dangers of what she was doing.

It most likely was. However, as far as medical documentation goes, "self-inflicted gunshot wound" simply means the gun was in the hand of the person who sustained the injury. It doesn't always result in death and sometimes can be as minimal as trauma to the fingers, depending upon where the gun was pointing when it went off. It's a lot harder to determine intent with just medical evidence.

Wonder if we could get someone from the local news there in here to talk about what has happened and what they have heard about it.
