fox reporting weapons grade plutonium possibly found
in huge weapons complex. inspectors seemed to have missed it even though they visited it several times. waiting for confirmation

Read reports - where it was underground and so much radiation that is sent the sensors out of control. Report said if anyone stayed in this area for more than 3 hours - the high level of radiation would make them start vomitting.
Don't think the UN knew about this......another underground disclosure.

My Questions would be:
1.)Apparently,the UN Knew there were trace readings, yet walked away more than once...Hmmmm Hans?
2.)Where did they get the Weapons Grade Plutonium? There was/is no Reactor.
Hmmmmmm Mssr Chirac?
3.)Weapons Grade Plutonium is for Advanced Nuke Programs. It was thought if Iraq had a Nuke program,it would be crude at best...making use of Enriched Uranium! Why then the Plutonium???Where from?
Hmmmmm Chancellor of Germany?
Hmmmmm Vlady Putin?
Hmmmmm China?
Some UN you guys have!
Funny how these clowns disappeared when we asked for their backing in the Coalition Forces.Gee,I wonder why?

Stephanie wrote:That's a good question. I would think that they would've had the equipment with them to take readings. If they were underground though, do you think that the inspectors would've gotten near enough to this area?
Steph,
Records show UN Inspectors at that site many times over the past 12 years.
The Data...inconclusive!INW..the Iraqis wouldnt let them do proper tests,as some inspectors wanted. And 2,much of the equipment was thought to have been moved per tracks and fresh signs of soil tampering.
Like just before we attacked?

No, Stephanie; the UN "inspectors" went where their Iraqi hosts told them, accepted what they were given as "proof of compliance"...and remembered very well who was paying their tab while in Saddam's paradise on earth...France, Germany, Russia, and perhaps some Swedish "kroner" thrown in for good measure.

The Pittsburgh Tribune reporter broke the story, saying though that our own physicists possibly wouldn't have looked there in this underground location cause it "didn't make sense." Strange how a marine could sniff out the trail when the "experts" could not
Nothing against the Marines mind you, in fact, hats off to them
Other question is: if they have this facility and weapons grade plutonium, did they produce anything, and if so where is it :o Could be many dirty bombs - as a minimum.

Yes,the Marine Unit specially trained in Yuma Az and White Sands,NM for Desert Nuke Residuals.Much different than stable soil,as sandstorms 'blow off' some residues.
The training paid off.
Secondly,no.Again..for WG Plutonium Production, one must have a Reactor or dam good facsimile thereof.
The North Koreans employ this technology.
Third,Dirty Bombs consist of waste material Isotopes, such as from Hospitals. Not very effective in the mass murder game, however very effective in the Terror Game. These appear not to be waste isotope readings, rather Big Boy Toy Nuke+++Plutonium.

he presence of weapons grade plutonium is very big news indeed. Obviously they bought it from some one with a nuclear weapons program. That cuts the candidate list real quick!

I'm in the minority I think that thinks SH got out of Baghdad before they got there....and if the tunnels indeed exist...are we even wondering how he got out?

(A) there are going to be a lot of tests conducted by several authorities before we show "proof"...not all U.S., either, so as not to give our unworthy detractors a "Yeah, right, it is U.S. Anglo-Saxon propaganda" spin...(Get that..."Anglo-Saxon"...just like calling us "Franks" and Crusaders"...these guys don't forget, do they?)
(B) there is a LOT of "chatter" about Saddam being "dead" coming from the region..but this could be "disinformation", too.

I think he's been gone for awhile or escape at the first of the war to Tikrik or even Syria now.
Part of me thinks we will never know.
Patricia
and furthermore......if I was SH and I wanted to get the heck out of Baghdad the first thing I'd do is shave the stache!...next would be the head....then I'd shed the military uniform, with gun, sword, and hatchett and slip on some sweats. Then.....I'd slither out from under my rock and jump in a car, and exit Iraq along with the thousands leaving. (This would have been long before we ever got to Baghdad).
Also....there have been reports circulating that His wife and daughters (?) are reportedly in Syria, and have been hanging around with a bald fat man.
