I had to do damage assessments after the storms from Belle Glade north (east side of lake). The environmental damage was extensive. The structural damage to homes and business along the lake was sad. Most of the structures were poor quality. The Pahokee marina was destroyed. The storms made a bad situation (economically) much worse.
