Mary, :)

Does Hamilton County have early voting this year? Here in Raleigh my folks and I voted this past weekend.

You can vote early, via absentee. Is that what you're referring to Eric? My mom voted that way. So did my brother-in-law who's disabled. Both find it hard to get to the polls and fight the crowds also.

Ohio's polls are open for 13 hours, while KY and IN are open for 12, I think. Don't quote me on KY and IN, I was trying to search for their hours. I know that in OH polls are open, from 6:30 a.m to 7:30 p.m.

Mary,

No...we voted at an area town hall. I can understand though that for the elderly and disabled regarding long lines that voting absentee would be better.

32(I believe) states have some form in early voting. In Georgia, they started it on Monday, and it's not absentee. You actually go to the place and cast your vote like you would on election day. The lines are very long. I can only imagine how bad they will be on Tuesday. It's the first time GA has used early voting for a Presidential election.

I thought the polls being open for a Presidential election was federally mandated to be only 12 hours. Here in TX it is 7am to 7pm. It seems unfair for some states to have polls open longer than others.

And please all democrats let's follow the rules!!!!! Your date to vote is Wednesday!!!!
