I will second that Marshall..albiet guarded.I have found a pattern to Media Reports during this War as somewhat unreliable from a first report.I am wary of Media types hopping on too fast to break a story..and when it comes to a subject close to my heart..POWs/MIAs I am very hesitant to relax and feel a comfort zone with the Intell until the confirmations come forth from CENTCOM and the Pentagon...let's hope this report is factual..I pray it is.

"PTL!" How wonderful! Like Marshall said, the Pentagon is calling the families as we speak!

Great news as the families haved been notified so it is confirmed.DJ you are right about media reports that at first are wrong but this time it is for real that the marines found them near Tikrit in good condition although 2 have gun wounded injuries.

Allelulia - lets rejoice at this latest event.

And all those families - how this must the be the greatest day for them - to know their love ones are alive and well.

This is wonderful news! Reports say that as Marines were coming
into Tikrit, Iraqi soldiers waved them down and handed the POWs
over!

This is cause for GREAT pause, reflection and joy.In so many past Wars and conflicts...so very many never made it home.I am so overwhelmed with pride for this Nation! We FINALLY GOT OUR GUYS BACK!!!!!WE have our PRIORITIES in FULL ORDER as a UNITED NATION!This ...THIS is what the World Stage SHALL take notice of.NOT the Brilliant War Plan,Nor even the Liberation of the Iraqi people. As wonderful and wonderous as they are ..a Nation...as is a FAMILY is judged by how they care for their own.
Take Pride..this Morning in OUR Country!I am beaming.Just beaming. 8)

Let's also remember the MIA's. We still have 15 or so of our service folks that are unaccounted for. Let's all pray for their safe recovery as well! :-)

I tried to get on this morning to tell everybody. I couldn't get into the forum. I tried chat and got in there but nobody was in there. WOOHOO!!!!!!!
At first they said there were 6 and that 1 was an African-American woman. I've been glued to the TV ever since. Praise God !!!!!

I'm crying, laughing, smiling all at the same time!!

What a blessing....I was on the phone with my aunt when I heard car horns and people cheering....and I thought what the??? On a Sunday morning?? Then one of my neighbors ran up (I had the doors open) and yelled for me to turn on tv...Ron's mom and dad were on, and Ron was alive...safe!!!!

Dad says they have the tv on in Jessica's room at the hospital...she knows she's not the only survivor!! Dad's in tears too! :)

Praise the Lord DJ!!! Marshall ticka, David, ...bonnie..Dude!.thank you all so much!!! :)

I may have the honor and privilege of meeting two American heroes...which humbles me more than any of you know. Miracles still do happen...Jessi, Shoshona, Ron, and his co pilot David Williams are living proof!

This is a great day....a wonderful Palm Sunday morning!
