Cell Phone Registration - Do Not Call Registry

Did you know that a directory of cell phone numbers will be published soon? This opens the door to unwanted solicitations and the loss of precious cell phone minutes. The Federal Trade Commission has set up a National Do Not Call Registry. You must call from the number you wish to register. The phone number is 1-888-382-1222 or you go to https://www.donotcall.gov/register/Reg.aspx to register your cell phones online. It should be noted that, while registration will stop most solicitations, calls from political organizations, charities and telephone surveyors would still be permitted if an existing business relationship has been established.
