Awww, that's our "Anne" isn't it?

But I don't know that movie....

I just realized I can only guess at this thread...since I don't know how the heck you post pics....I need to become more computer savvy I think. LOL

Okay, let's see if someone else knows what this movie is!!!

Mary has it right on who the actress is. Sorry, CFG, it's not Robby Benson.

It is, however, the actor's debut movie. So, if anyone can figure out who he is....

Eric,

When I said that our "Anne" I was referring to a series of movies called - Anne of Green Gables, Avonlea, etc. The actress playing Anne will always be our "Anne", to my daughter Nina and I. We just loved the books first and foremost. But then when we watched the two first Anne movies, we just loved them. It's a girl thing though....so if you have a niece, I highly suggest the books and movies - they're quite safe, but more importantly demonstrate good morals. I don't want to give away the actress' name though....this is Shawn's game/thread.

I must admit to doing some cheating over at the Internet Movie Database website, plugging in each actor/actress' name, hoping to find out which movie this way. Well, it didn't work! I'm even more confused.

Wxmom - thanks, I thought it was SS right away.

Mary,

We have an Anne of Green Gables video library that we bought for my niece Janae...we keep the library here and she watches a video for some of the fun she has when she visits her grandparents and Uncle Eric.

I suppose Shawn wouldn't want to us reveal the actress' name who played Anne just yet...will let her decide. :wink:

It's a nice video series...and even her Dad, Grandpa and uncle have enjoyed Anne's stories!

I liked the gentleman who played the brother of Colleen Dewhurst's character...I think his character name is Matthew...
was sad when he died of heart attack as he was leading a cow through the pasture...either that or he was walking beside Anne...we all cried for a few minutes and during the scene of Matthew's funeral.
