Deleting our own threads?

#1 Postby ColdFront77 » Wed Nov 10, 2004 5:12 pm

Is there a particular reason why we aren't allowed to delete our own threads?

There are times when we don't want a particular topic we started to remain on the board for one reason or another.

For the most part, however, I wasn't meaning it in that exact way.

Then PM a mod and ask them to remove it.

There is no use constantly PMing a mod. for removing threads... we the originally poster doesn't want on the board.

Understood Chad. If I come across something I really don't want I will.

I assumed it was set that way, because several other message board I use and have used have the feature availabe for it's members.

Thanks.

That's the only reason it makes sense. :) Although, after all, the member who created the thread had the interest at the time to create it, not necessarily long term.

If it isn't fair for others, than why would you grant someone's request for removal, especially several times?
