Shannon is getting her "thang" in perspective, and,
Josh has rain comin' to Southern CA! I wish I could
have been in Orange County when it was raining, just to see it,
Josh, but, it was dry as a wood chip!

Well - its 10:45 at night - I'm still doing laundry. Daughter is going on field trip and have to get her special outfit washed and dried and make her a sack lunch.

Its been a busy weekend - worked in the garden some - cleaned house. I have a Girl Scout meeting tomorrow night so with 17 girls coming over I need to get it all cleaned.

So with this - I am going to sign-off for the night. Need my beauty sleep. Hopefully everyone has a great week.

God Bless.

Back in September! One of those neurology workshops
on nerve conduction studies....... :o Newport Beach Mariott -
woooooo-hoooo! Locals talked about how rain was rare...said
it usually came "overnight", and, not much at a time. It was sunny
and beautiful when I went! 8)

Darn, Josh - if I'd of known you then, I'd of called you
and tormented you while I was there! :ggreen: Did have a pal
from Mt. Shasta that called and left a "hello" on my voice mail!

I hit all the bars around Newport Beach pier ! (*Wasn't like Jacki's
bar, tho.....)

I'm in the city northwest of Newport Beach. Huntington Beach, to be exact. ;)

Speaking of which, I may not be online much tomorrow because I might have severe weather! :o

...SRN CA COAST...
UPPER-TROUGH WILL MOVE EWD ACROSS CA AS CONVECTION DEVELOPS ALONG A BAROCLINIC ZONE AS IT MOVES SLOWLY SEWD THROUGH SRN CA. FORECAST SOUNDINGS INDICATE BEST INSTABILITY WILL BE ACROSS THE SRN CA COAST WITH MAXIMUM MLCAPE AROUND 200 J/KG. WITH 500 MB TEMPERATURES PROGGED TO BE AROUND -25 C...ISOLATED HAIL WILL BE POSSIBLE AS CONVECTIVE LINE MOVES ACROSS THE COAST. FORECAST SOUNDINGS INDICATE THE BEST LOW-LEVEL SHEAR WILL EXIST ACROSS THE SRN CA COAST. IF LOW-LEVEL SHEAR IS HIGHER THAN THE MODEL FORECAST...ISOLATED WATERSPOUT/TORNADO COULD BE POSSIBLE IN THE VICINITY OF THE COAST.

Morning everyone. Looks like an absolutely beautiful day to hang out on the front porch but I have to leave to go to school in just a few. Have a great day everyone! :)

Happy Monday! :D

Hey, you guys have it backwards. The weekends are for taking it easy. I'm seeing some mighty busy people around here! :D

We taught our 13 y/o son how to mow the lawn yesterday. One of those milestones that I had to take a picture of - sneaking thru the window, of course. He's a typical teenager, long and gangly, everything's "dude", and girls are suddenly not so annoying anymore. I'm trying to figure out how this happened overnight. I'm sooooooo not ready! :o

Have a great day wx friends! :D

LOL Isobar. I wish I could have waited until 13 to start mowing the lawn. I don't remember the exact age when I started but it was around 9 or 10.

Garrett responsible? Are you sure???

Currently 80* in Green Bay with blustery conditions! I actually get to say Heat Index (yup...the Heat Index is currently 80*) Break out the Ice Cream (lol)

I have a lovely chem lab that's due on Thursday...You're probably thinking...its only a lab, but this has to be over 10 pages! My roommate did the same lab last semester and hers is about 15 pages. :o

Funny Donna, my son sounds exactly like yours, grew into a young man overnight....we just taught him to mow this month, and he was soooo excited to do it, until he had to do it....lol.

Hi Shannon, hope you're doing well...hello to everyone else too.

I tried to pop into chat over the weekend, but my pc kept freezing up and it just wasn't worth the hassel! Hope to try again next week.

I know pojo. Sometimes you gotta love my grasp of the obvious. Unfortunately in work the WC forums are the only ones that I get. But it is nice to find an off topic forum around here.

Hi everyone. :) It's rained over an inch here today so far with rain falling as I type this post. :D There is still a chance of thunderstorms through tonight.

I had a busy but easy day at work. How is that possible? There were just a lot more phone calls is all. I did fine under the increased pressure though. I will be getting my first paycheck either Friday or next Monday, and it will be for $75.60 or so. :D

I am also pretty much done with my chores for now. I am taking a break from the rest of them so I can watch the weather and track it. ;)

That's about all for now. :) C ya! Joshua

Windy Here Today

#439 Postby Aslkahuna » Mon Apr 14, 2003 8:25 pm

but not too bad-only gusted to 40mph so far. Could be worse since in the past we have gusted over 80mph in April windstorms. Fortunately, they got that fire down by Palominas pretty well knocked down overnight so it hasn't blown up today. Speaking about that fire, it was indeed a "gift" from the people of Mexico to the people of the US. For the second time this year in Cochise County the US taxpayers have been stuck with a fire fighting bill because some lousy illegal was too stupid or lazy to put out his campfire.

Making a brief stop to the front porch... My sinus infection has got me pretty bad this go-around after making it through the winter season relatively unscathed ... I'm starting to ache and my head is hurting quite a bit so I know I have to call it a night very shortly. Even worse, I cannot take leave during this current training session, otherwise, I will have to start over ... however, if this gets any worse, I will be forced to take sick leave, no questions asked ...

This also has forced me to postpone my recording session in regards to singing ... just figures.
