Well it would be nice...................we shall see.

Has there ever been a winter in the past fifty years that featured a lot of cold near Thanksgiving into December then the following Jan/Feb/Mar was NOT mild?

Anyone? wxguy25? SF?

Yes .... 1989-1990 (but the signals were all different, along with a neutral to weak La Niña)...

From the looks of the Feb 2005 Map.......the POTENTIAL looks great for a lot of snow in the MA and NE. If this thing sets up right, we could get a 1995-1996-like amount of snow all in one month!!!

WOW I hope it happens, me and my snow shovels are all ready.
