Question for gals about cosmetics

#1 Postby alicia-w » Wed Nov 17, 2004 3:51 pm

Has anyone else used the Bare Escentuals/Bare Minerals make-up? I recently became hooked on the stuff and love how it makes your skin look. But was wondering if there were any negative reactions or experiences out there.... Thanks

Alicia - sorry can't help ya. But I've noticed on WebMD's message board for skin care, lots of questions come up about products such as makeup. You'd have to join to post the topic but it's easy to join there (I'm MissMary with 5 numbers behind my nic there).

You might even be able to search back. I'm not even sure I've posted on the skin care board. I know I have on a few others.

I was thinking about ordering that stuff. Alicia, you are the first person I've heard about who is using it. :)

You can get sample packs on Ebay for a relatively low price. I like the stuff a lot, but was just making sure there werent any hidden surprises waiting for me down the road.

Thanks Alicia.. I had George look it up on e-bay last night too and you're right, there's a ton of that stuff on there. I didn't feel like looking too much though because my back was sore from a cervical epidural injection I had after work. I am most likely going to order some this weekend. I''ll let you know how it works out.

This morning I got carded for cigarettes and the lady couldn't believe I was going to be 40 in 11 days. She said I had really young looking skin, so I hope this gives me the healthy glow to keep it going strong. I've always had trouble with foundations except Mary Kay. Right now I use Neutrogena.

I've used Mary Kay since my teens and switched to Principal Secret about 2 years ago, because my Mary Kay lady quit selling it..... I really like her skin care products.
