I was in Alaska this summer and saw many whales, but my pictures sure don't look that Mr. Matsumoto's.

People who haven't been to Alaska should put it on the top of their life list. It was beyond all of my expectations and we are going back next year. Vast, rugged, beautiful, spiritual.

Glad you liked it. I LOVE Alaska and told me husband I would move there in a heartbeat if he wanted to go.

couldn't stand the cold if I moved there, but I sure could try real hard to stand that AWESOME scenery!!!! Thanks Alicia!

My husband and I took a 4 month vacation to Alaska. We spent 30 days of it canoeing the Noatak River in the Brooks Range, hiking Denali National Park, meandering the Alaska Hwy on the way there, visiting Banff and Jasper National Parks, Yellowstone/Grand Tetons and the Badlands. I would move to Alaska in a heartbeat!

I love Alaska artwork! Bought a painting and a quilled basket while there. Thanks for the link.
