What is going on here? I haven't been watching every move of this case, but it gets interesting by the minute.

There are SERIOUS problems in this case with this jury, along with the fact that I see numerous reasons for possible appeals by BOTH sides now...

Even the media is now saying it appears that it will end up a hung jury at best. I'm not sure if in this day and age of the "information super highway" if it is really possible to "sequester" juries and keep them from considering outside information. Maybe some of these concepts need to be revisited. I am all for innocent until proven guilty, etc. but is it really possible to keep a jury to hearing and ssing only that which is presented in the courtroom?

IMO, if this ends up having to be retried, that in and of itself will be an injustice after all the time that has already been spent on this trial.

Maybe this has something to do with why the foreman was dismissed:

American Medical Association guidelines bar doctors from taking part, directly or indirectly, in executions. And Kentucky requires doctors to follow AMA ethical guidelines.
