Another quick stop here.

My Father in law was taken to the hospital last night for difficulty with breathing and a rapid heartbeat. He seems fine and they put him in to adjust medications and just get himto settle down. He gets so agitated and that of course compounds things. Anyway, asking for some prayers for him and the family on this special day for our son and for healing and comfort for dad please. Just got a call from my son who went up to see him before heading out to school. Seems to be doing well and is awake and alert.
Some of the Earl Grey over there please. Ah, thanks that is just what I need.

Laters all!

Hope everyone had a great week. Tonight we're going to the rather snobbish annual black-tie fundraiser dinner for our kids' school. Last year I couldn't wait to get outta there, but this year we're going with our neighbors who we carpool with. They are both hilariously funny, and the wife has a tendency to say the wrong things after a drink or two. Should be a hoot!

David - Big congratulations to your son. May he have wisdom, guidance, and blessings during this new direction in his life. And prayers for your father-in-law for healing and to be filled with the peace of God that transcends all understanding.

Jake - You guys make a very sweet couple! Thanks for posting pics. And speaking of posting ... post a link to your website when it's up and running.

Jeremy - Take care buddy, hope you're feeling better today!

Mary - Have an awesome time in Chicago! I visited there a couple months ago for the 1st time. Went shopping, saw a Cubs game, ate at the Cheesecake Factory for breakfast (now that's living!) Can't wait to go back.

Have a blessed weekend, stovians!! :D

I'm worse if anything. :( Woke up to a cough and congestion, not to mention the still sore throat and runny nose. This totally sucks.

Yea, but look on the bright side, you have a SONG named after you!!!

I am a Rock

How is everybody today? I am doing wonderful! I am doing a lot of work on the church website - it is fun! The web servant (master) has been showing me a lot of cool stuff.

Anyways, I am still looking for a job. Keisha may get impatient if this goes on for very long. :D LOL!!!

We have a lot of grass growing in our yard, but it is still bare in spots. I also have some rocks making a circular border around these trees:

Image

It will forever be a "work in progress" if you know what I mean! :)

isobar, thanks for the kind words. Keisha is the one responsible, though! I sure don't help like she does!

And speaking of posting ... post a link to your website when it's up and running.

I have the forum up and running if you care to see that. http://dime.tcforums.net

I am focusing on:

Discipleship
Intercession
Missions
Evangelism

Thus, DIME. I am probably going to change the name slightly when I get the domain for the website. Same letters, different arrangement.

If there are any Christians who feel lead to go there and post your testimony, that would be great! :D

Does anybody here have a blog? They seem cool, but you would need traffic to make them work right I guess. Hope you all have a great day~!

This is hardly sinus stuff. It's a full-fledged cold. Still, I'm hanging in as best I can. Thanks.

Hi Justjake. Hope all is well with you and your family.

SF and Jeremy, I hope you both get better soon! :D

David -- I echo what Isobar said and hope that your father-in-law gets better soon. Prayers to him and your entire family.

Anyway... I am finding myself in a very tough spot trying to figure things out, helping people out and one from off a cliff, and trying to get another to get back to NOVA, a community college that she dropped out of. I am also now just trying to hold on to my life, as everything is falling apart rapidly. Prayers to all who need them...

You gotta start somewhere...

I just wanted to post a picture I took today with my NEW digital camera! I took it from my porch out towards the curve on the corner of the lot where the street it. I took it so that you all could see the rock circle I put in.

Image

I will delete the picture if it comes out too big. Just let me know. I plan on putting in some shrubs or perennials or some other trees.

Jake, it's looking great! It's a lot of
hard work, but, one of these days, you're
going to look out and know that you're
really home. ;)

Wooooo-Hoooooo!!! I'm off work until Monday -
FIVE glorious days off!!! Somebody PINCH me!

LOL, ok - I was just kidding about that....

All of you holiday travelers, DO be careful out there,
ok? The weather forecast just seems to get even
nastier for tonight and tomorrow, especially in
the South. Be safe!

Enjoy your weekend off, Annette! Consider yourself pinched.

We're heading out later today to spend the weekend with Jim's family in Ohio. It's about a 6 hr drive in good weather and little traffic. Safe to say both those factors will be rare today.

Everyone have a safe and happy and filling Thanksgiving!!!
God bless!

Yeah those two things will be rare today. And indeed they've been scarce here in Cincinnati. I-75 in Kentucky has been backed up all day from the river back to 1 mile north of I-275. And it looks to remain that way all afternoon. Actually, at last check northbound I-75 was solid out to Norwood, OH. So it's been an ugly travel day.

Thanks for the traffic report, Jeremy. That's exactly where we'll be heading this evening, up I-71 thru Cincy.

OK guys....IT SNOWED in Temecula the other day.....we're in a VALLEY, in SOUTHERN CALI...and it SNOWED! We got about 1 inch, enough to cover the yard, roofs, the kids to sled down our hill, and a neighbor to collect enough snow around the neighborhood to make a snowman! This IS crazy!

On a less light note...please keep my daughter Chloe in your prayers....thank you.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Well, it's going to be around 29°F, tonight, so,
I'm scootchin' up to that stove! I put on a fresh
pot of coffee, as well.

So, now....anyone for a TURKEY sandwich?
