Model Schedule

#1 Postby wx247 » Sun Nov 21, 2004 3:05 pm

What is the model schedule for the GFS, ETA, MM5, and the RUC? I know the RUC is much more frequent, but I am not sure to what extent. Thanks!!!

GFS/ETA and MM5 are run every 6 hrs at 0z/06z/12z and 18z the GFS is run to 384 hours on all four runs and the ETA to 84 hours. The MM5 availability will vary from site to site.

The RUC 3hr one is for the INITAL time. I sometimes mistaked the RUC 1hr to be the initial time, but later found it was the 3hr for real time model info, on that hr.
