BREAKING!! JET CRASH IN HOUSTON!!

#1 Postby vbhoutex » Mon Nov 22, 2004 8:20 am

A Gulfstream jet on final approach to Houston Hobby airport has crashed this morning in dense fog. NOt a lot of information available yet but initial reports have 10-12 people on board. No reports on casualties yet but first responders are fighting fire and having to use four wheel vehicles to repond to the site which is adjacent to our outer belt on the South side of town near Hwy 288, both major arteries for the morning commute. Beltway 8 is closed down with debris on the roadway and north into the feild adjacent to the freeway.

Update -- Plane that crashed and crew that died (two pilots - both male, one flight attendant - female) were scheduled to pick up former President Bush and take him to Ecuador today.

Yea they were scheduled to pick up the 41st president to take him to Ecuador. I think it was a planned lecture that Bush was gonna to attend. Sorry to hear about the loss of the crew on that flight. Luckily bush is ok though.
