We have had on and off moderate to heavy snow today, but little or no accumulation. When will spring come??

lol i believe there are dogwoods in your general area. There is this canadian peninsula that sticks into the us and separates lakes michigan, ontario and erie. Over there they have what is called a carolinian forest. I believe there are many dogwoods over there. Oh well. it does look beautiful here though especially combined with the azaleas :)

Lemme see..a Canadian Peninsula..that sticks into the US and seperates Lakes Michigan Ontario and Erie.Hmmm.This is Geographically impossible.
Lake Michigan is 350+ miles west of Lks Ontario and Erie.with the entire Penisula of Lower Michigan seperating them...and the last time I checked...Michigan is still firmly in US hands, not Canadian!LOL!!!
I beleive you speak of the Grand River Trail. The species of Carolinian Dogwoodis the 'Flowering Dogwood' and can include Prickly Pear Cactus!!
The spit of land you refer to is Lower SW Ontario between Kitchener and Cambridge to Waterloo,SW of Toronto.
Eh?

after sunrise. Rainfall was miniscule as the bulk of the rain stayed north of I-10 in Cochise County (typical). Winds have been around since Sunday with peak gusts at the house of 40mph and 48mph at Libby Airfield which implies 50-60mph gusts in the wind prone areas in the lee of the Huachucas. Snow level stayed up however. We expect more showers and possible boomers this weekend-just so's we don't get another Easter mini bliz like we did in 1999!

Now *THAT* was MY kinda snow, a *quickie* "LOL!" A quick 5" in 2 hours, nothing on the roads, very, very benefical for the lawn and gardens, only ONE problem, it's colder than a well diggers @$$ out there now, sitting at 36°, with a STIFF north breeze of 28 gusting to over 37, hmm......that should make the wind chill somewheres in the lower 20's!!!!!!
