NO I WILL NOT BE SHOPPING FRIDAY!!!!!!!!

I have absolutely no desire to deal with the horrendous crowds in order to save a few bucks(which I don't have any of anyway).

BREAKING NEWSFLASH!!!!!!

Jeb has got you all beat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did all my Christmas shopping in October. My friends all understand this so they tell me what they want during the year, then if I can afford it, I get it for them, concluding it by late October.

I have giftwrap, ribbon, tape, the works, all organized and ready to go. I buy a little each December to keep my supplies up.

I know some people love to actually stand in line for about 21 hours only 2 days in front of Christmas, but I prefer peace and contentment in the midst of the holiday season, so I do my Christmas shopping EARLY!! :)

Then when everyone panics on December 22 and northern Virginia gets plastered with a rare, once-in-55-years-snow blizzard, I am all calm, content, singing Christian songs in my snug, warm house and watching the snow blow around while contentedly typing away on my computer as I indulge in my never-ending addiction to Storm2k. I enjoy myself while folks are out at the mall, waiting in interminable lines and getting stuck in insane traffic jams in the driving snow.

Some people love the Christmas rush. That's fine by me! :) To each his or her own! :)

But I'm done already!!! Yeah, BRING ON THE HOLIDAYS!! YEAH, BRING ON 36 INCHES OF WIND-DRIVEN SNOW!!!

I'll be kickin' on back and singing Christian songs off my CD player as loud as I can and I'll be right here................

on Storm2k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I truly do NOT like to shop so, no, I won't be shopping on Friday. I make a list at home, look stuff up on the internet to find out where the sales are and either order from the internet or know exactly where I want to get it, grit my teeth and get in and out of the store as fast as I can. I like giving gifts and I love Christmas, I just really hate shopping.

Not on your life will I be out in the crowds! I can't stand being pushed around by a stranger trying to grab the item I just put my hand on.

"ABSOULETY NOT, NO WAY JOSE!" Reasons being, the FLU is running rampant up here, we have 10" of NEW snow, very WET, heavy snow mind you.....we have literally HUNDREDS of new residents, primarily CALIFORNIANS who don't have a flippin' CLUE about driving, let alone DRIVING IN THE SNOW  !
