Graeter's Black Raspberry Chip - hands down! It's to die for.....Oprah's fave too! Yes it's locally made for 125 years now....sorry, not national, just regional at this point. But if anyone is in these areas - Ohio (Cincinnati/Dayton/Columbus), Kentucky (Lexington/Louisville/Northern KY), Indiana (several towns), and you see a Graeter's store, stop in. Order Black Raspberry Chip - you won't be sorry!

That black raspberry chip sounds great. When I was pregnant with my first I sent my husband searching for black raspberry. (was going to put hot fudge sauce on it) He came back with black cherry (ick! Not even close!)

You can order Graeter's ice cream and it will be shipped, in dry ice. But it's expensive! Smallest order is 6 pints and at something around $70! I almost ordered it for someone who had moved away from Cincinnati but I trying to place an order for $25. Couldn't do it. Oh well....but if money is no object and you get a hankering for black raspberry chip ice cream, you CAN order it! You don't have to live here to enjoy this truly unique flavor of ice cream. One final comment - the chocolate "chips" are not chips - they are huge chunks of chocolate, that collects to the sides of the ice cream machine when it's hand stirred - yes by hand. So no tiny chips for this ice cream. My family loves the big choc chunks.
