MAJOR SPOILER (Kelly, ignore this...I think)

#1 Postby GalvestonDuck » Tue Nov 30, 2004 10:09 am

I can't really figure out how to warn people not to read this without making it kind of obvious what it's about.

All I can really say is -- KELLY, DON'T READ THIS!!!!!!!!

Okay, now...having said that...

If you read any further, don't blame me for giving it away and saying I didn't warn you! :)

Anybody here (except for Kelly, who shouldn't be reading this far) still watching Jeopardy? Somehow, I want to tell her to be sure to watch today...but I don't want to say why because she doesn't want to know. So, how do you tell someone who might want to watch that today is Ken's last day without really giving it away? I want to see it. I haven't watched in a while and I'd like to see who beats him and how.

This rumor has been flying around for a while, but I don't know if it's today or tomorrow. Today, the rumor is that he loses on his 75th show, but I had also heard (or thought I heard) that he won 75 times, which would mean that he lost on the 76th show. I'll tune in, see what happens. Either way, I predict that they'll change their rule back to the 5-win-max, maybe 10.

I am almost certain he loses tonight. He'll be on Regis tomorrow.

lol duckie! Thanks for the warning. When I saw this topic yesterday, I knew what it was about, but didn't want to read it and confirm it. Our bozo NBC Channel said something like "Be sure and watch Jeopardy today. You'll be talking about it at the water cooler at work tomorrow." Well, DUH! Who couldn't figure that out? lol
I knew he couldn't win forever, but it was kinda sad. That lady has to be THRILLED but it wasn't really that she was so smart, but he just blew it on several key questions. Like TWO Daily Doubles valued at $5600 and $4800 (or close to that...don't remember exactly) and then Final Jeopardy of course. I don't recall Ken missing so many big wagers.

Anyway, congratulations to Ken - he had an awesome run and did great!!

Btw, anyone catch Nightline last night? It was about Ken!
