Man killed after lava lamp explodes ON STOVE

Well here's my own story that illustrates why you never should do that:

One night when I was maybe 14 or 15, I was making Tuna Helper. Well the only dish I had that I could use was a glass casserole dish! :eek: Of course I didn't know why you weren't supposed to put them there! That thing literally EXPLODED all over the stove, and I've never done that since!

I think ER's would do 1/4 of their business if it weren't for those who are clueless, lack common sense, or are on drugs or drunk.

Definitely....the head trauma nurse at Wellstar Douglas told me a couple years ago that 50% or more of the patients treated in their ER on hot summer nights were there as result of drugs or alcohol (accidents, fights, domestic violence, overdoses, etc).

I had no choice BUT to clean it up. Turned off the stove first though. Hey, I didn't know that would happen. So now, if I was to do that, I would have no one to call stupid but myself. Again, I was only like 14 or 15. I didn't do much cooking back then.
