Almost looks like now there are going to be 2 big systems. That 2nd one looks to be a huge Storm coming into the NW Pacific coast, go along the Canadian Border and then dip down into the Midwest and then the SE with a HUGE Trough. I'd look for some record lows afterwards and some severe ahead of it
Yeah it has changed a bit. Still showing two storms, with the first one bringing a pretty good shot of cold air behind it. The second looks to be more of a clipper type system.
At the end of the GFS forecast period, a large ridge is forecast to develop all the way into Canada. Could even be some record highs in the upper Midwest about this time next week
