PHILADELPHIA -- Here's an idea that Jerry Seinfeld could have come up with -- a restaurant serving nothing but cereal.
CerealityCereality opened in Philadelphia Wednesday in the University City area of the city.
It is an all-day cereal bar and cafe at University Square at 36th and Walnut streets.
Tony the Tiger greeted customers on opening day.
Cereality features servers wearing jammies, offering 30 varieties of name-brand cold cereal and 36 toppings ranging from fruit to malted milk balls -- all with regular, flavored or soy milk.
You can also get mixtures with imaginative names. "Devil Made Me Do It" includes Cocoa Puffs, Lucky Charms, chocolate crunchies and malt balls.
Diners can stretch out on a couch and watch cartoons or check e-mail with free wireless access.
The restaurant in the neighborhood near the University of Pennsylvania is popular with students. But the co-founders plan new locations in the next year in places like hospital lobbies, airports and office buildings.
For more information on Cereality, visit their Web site at http://www.cereality.com/.

I can just picture the Seinfeld episode on this place Eric! I think the gang would have planned a road trip or something.....truly a unique idea. I would think this would be popular on college campuses. And I see it is, after reading further.
Growing up, my brothers and I snacked on dry cereal all the time. I still do occasionally. We would just fill up a plastic glass with a sweet cereal (not plain Cheerios!) and munch away. Our fave was always Frosted Flakes.
