A Hair Question - Ladies??

I've got the gray hair thing all figured out now. Or at least understand what the different hair color levels mean. That took me about a year and several 1-800 calls to Clairol but now I'm proud to say I color my hair every 4 weeks, for under $10. That's a steal compared to what I was paying to have it professionally colored - highway robbery!

Okay a few questions. What exactly does Rogaine do? And why do you have to use it everyday? Is it a pill or some kind of gel?

It's a clear liquid which you apply your scalp 2 times a day. It's supposed to help stop hair loss and help regrow your hair. You don't see results for a few months though. I have noticed that there's less hair in the sink since using it.

So, I'm gaining a "chrome dome" myself (Rogaine is useless against genetic baldness), and my beard is WHITE...and I have earned every snowy hair of it.

How do you wash your hair? Does the liquid wash out?

You're supposed to put it in four hours before your wash your hair or at least wait until your hair is dry before applying it. I cheat in the morning. I'll apply it after I unwrap the towel from my hair so I don't mess the 'do up. When applied, it dries on your scalp.
