Wow, that's an incredible story! What I can't figure out though, is did he collect them but not use them?
And here we only have ONE card, a Visa. Honest - when offered accounts from Target, Kohl's to Shell, I always say no, especially when I try to pay for purchases with cash. We just don't want to in a lot of debt (not that our Visa is at 0 right now, though, LOL).

We also only have a visa (oh and hubby opened a circut city card)
Our general philosophy, If I cant pay for it with cold hard cash....... I cant have it. That includes cars (hence the junkers hanging out in the drive way!) We have to be very careful because if we get into debt and we are denied our green cards next year, we will have to pay back the debt at an exchange rate of R1=$7.00 !!!!!
