Regarding Web Pop-Up Ads

#1 Postby Ixolib » Sun Dec 05, 2004 11:37 pm

I have not, will not, and cannot imagine myself ever buying anything from any company that thinks it's "okay" to try and force me to consider their wares and/or services. So, any company who pops thier ads into my view will absolutely NOT get my business!

I try to ignore them, but when 20 of them come up in a short period of time, it's hard to. If you don't close them out, it can lock up your computer and then you really have problems. :grr:

Pop-up ads? What are they? My browser kills them before they even think of popping up.

I have a pop-up blocker and it really helps, but I still get a few to slip through the cracks. My biggest annoyance is on a site like TV Guide where a big ad comes up where your trying to look at the listings and you can't get rid of it. :grr: Blockers don't stop that.
