thinks the extreme cold is coming to the eastern half of the nation in about 12 days.

"Much below normal temperatures are likely east of the Rockies, Dec. 19-21. "

Just as long as we don't get a huge shot of precip at that time. Can't afford a snow storm as I'm driving from OK to TN for Christmas w/the family. :oops:
