...MAJOR WEATHER CHANGES ON THE WAY...

A STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING THE THREAT FOR SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS TO GEORGIA ON THURSDAY. SOME LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN CAN BE EXPECTED...WHICH MAY CREATE SOME MINOR FLOODING IN NORTH GEORGIA.

ONCE THE STORM SYSTEM PASSES...WINDY AND MUCH COLDER AIR WILL FILTER IN BEGINNING FRIDAY. FLURRIES WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE NORTH GEORGIA MOUNTAINS BY FRIDAY NIGHT AS THE COLDER AIR ARRIVES. A MUCH STRONGER SHOT OF COLD AIR WILL ARRIVE BY EARLY TO MID PORTIONS OF NEXT WEEK BRINGING THE FIRST WIDESPREAD HARD FREEZE TO NORTH AND MIDDLE GEORGIA.

It wouldn't surprise me if some of that wrap around moisture produced a few flurries here. Although it seems like we would have a better chance of snow once the real cold air works its way down next week. The question is how cold, and how much moisture will be available. Too far out to know for sure.

Also the set-up coming up the next few weeks looks favorable for are little friends called CADS to start paying a visit to NE GA and Possible Ice Storm Events in the coming weeks. :D As you can tell I love Ice storms.
