Started here a few hrs ago. Been comming in waves. Go from light snow to heavy snow in a mater of seconds. The roads are a mess. So far have a little over a inch from it.
Things should continue to pick up over night and especially into the day on Monday. Looking for a total of 5 - 8 inches from this event with lots of wind and drifting. Areas just to my west and the UP Of MI look to pick up around a foot of snow from it. Same could be applied as well to the favored areas in NE.OH, NW.PA and western NY.
Right now have light snow with a temp of 28.
Lake effect kicks into high gear!

1 person confirmed dead in the pileup on I-275 this morning.
HEBRON, Ky. -- A fatal accident closed I-275 west of the airport in both directions this morning, and more accidents were reported as snow showers reduced visibility and created hazardous conditions on many roads.
The fatal accident involved two semis on the westbound lanes between Hebron and the airport. The eastbound lanes have reopened, and one westbound lane has reopened. A tow truck called to the scene was also involved in an accident.
Other accidents were reported on southbound I-71/75 at Buttermilk Pike and southbound I-471 at State Route 8.
The city of Cincinnati has dispatched its salt trucks to primary streets.
We won't get a lot snow -- less than 1 inch of accumulation is expected, reports News 5 meteorologist Kristen Cornett -- but snow showers will come and go throughout the morning.
Temperatures have fallen below freezing, so ice can form.
The wind chill is already below 20 degrees.
In addition, a power outage closed Lockland elementary, junior high and senior high.

There were also 4 other cars involved in the accident.
