330 PM CST SUN DEC 12 2004

...WIND ADVISORY MONDAY FOR ALL OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS...

.A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS SOUTHEAST TEXAS TONIGHT.
AS COLD HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS SOUTH INTO THE SOUTHERN PLAINS BEHIND
THIS FRONT...THE PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL TIGHTEN AND CAUSE NORTHERLY
WINDS TO INCREASE AREAWIDE ON MONDAY MORNING.

...A WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM UNTIL 4 PM CST
MONDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LEAGUE CITY HAS ISSUED A WIND
ADVISORY. STRONG NORTH WINDS WILL BE ON TAP MONDAY IN THE WAKE OF A
CANADIAN COLD FRONT. SUSTAINED WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH ARE EXPECTED
WITH GUSTS AROUND 35 MPH. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO BEGIN SUBSIDING
DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON HOURS ON MONDAY.

MOTORISTS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING ON MONDAY. EXTRA
ATTENTION SHOULD BE GIVEN TO CROSS WINDS WHEN DRIVING ON EAST TO
WEST ELEVATED ROADWAYS.

BOATERS IN THE WIND ADVISORY AREA SHOULD USE EXTREME CAUTION IF
VENTURING ONTO AREA LAKES MONDAY. THESE WINDS WILL MAKE OPEN WATERS
ON LAKES ROUGH AND HAZARDOUS...AND MAY RESULT IN HIGH WAVES WHICH MAY
TIP OR SWAMP SMALLER CRAFT. FOR YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY...AVOID THE
OPEN WATERS. STAY CLOSE TO SHORE OR AROUND PROTECTED AREAS.

RESIDENTS OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS SHOULD TAKE ACTION TO SECURE TRASH
CANS...LAWN FURNITURE...AND OTHER LOOSE OR LIGHTWEIGHT OUTDOOR
OBJECTS.

I was noticing that yankee. Looks like a true blue northern coming into Texas. Anything that gets folks in the lone star state into the Christmas spirit, a blue northern will definitely do the trick.

Yep this will be our first true "Blue Norther" of the season. Looking forward to it!! Calling for 29 on Weds morning here!

Winds are howling here right now. Gusts up to 41 mph this morning.

Winds jhust started here about 20 minutes ago. Not at 30 yet, but definitely have a "blue norther" on the way in!!! Currently 59º and that is as warm as we will be today.

Well I just got up, and its windy and 54 out right now (7:17am) with gusts from the North at 23 mph...
