How Cold in South Florida?

#1 Postby Scorpion » Thu Dec 16, 2004 8:09 pm

How cold will it get down on the Treasure Coast? TWC has it only getting to 37, yet some models take it below freezing. The high gets to 60. That seems a little high to me, especially because Jax is at 43 and Orlando at 47. Im thinking low to mid 50's for a high and low of about 30 if the models verify. One model even has snow up in N Central FL.

TWC bumped the high again to 62. What gives? What happened to this so called "hard freeze" that was supposed to happen?

Let's hope we don't get a freeze. South Florida has lost enough of it's citrus and other crops due to the Hurricanes...not to mention all the landscaping private residences and businesses have lost. A freeze would probably finish off the citrus farmers crops for this year...that would be horrible.
