Rainsville Alabama

#1 Postby Cookiely » Sun Dec 19, 2004 9:28 am

My sister just called to make me jealous. It is snowing very heavy in Rainsville Alabama. The temp is 37 and dropping to a high of 33 and low of 18, so I'm not sure if its going to stick or not but my nieces and nephew are having a blast. Poor me, I'll be lucky if I get a cool Christmas.

If it does accumulate, it'll just be a very light dusting(and that's not likely unless she's on a mountain). I doubt it even lasts long. The air is EXTREMELY dry down here.

Radar... Rainsville is a little northeast of Gadsden:

They live on or near the mountains from what I gather Brent. They live nearer to Sylvania. However long it lasts the children will go crazy. They will probably get one or two more episodes before winter ends. I worry because they are not used to driving in this stuff and they were off to church.

It's not a big deal... it doesn't matter if your used to it, the roads will be just fine, probably not even wet.
