Very Interesting

#1 Postby sertorius » Mon Dec 20, 2004 7:51 am

Not to take away from this weeks weather which gives quite enough to discuss but the GFS and Euro could not be farther from agreement for mid week next week. The GFS has a real good precip shield over my area with falling temps-looks like some would be snow for sure. The EURO has the 500 hts. quite high with temps. in the 40's to low 50's. I know all of this is far out, but it is interesting to look at the different solutions. Furthermore, on the last 2 previous runs of the GFS, it had us in a total zonal flow next week with quite warm temps. Now it has returned to its earlier solution of a colder pattern for next week. A betting person would bet the EURO-a person bored with the past 3 weeks of weather for the central plains would love to see the GFS verify!!! Who knows!! :D
