It's too bad the southerly flow started tonight here. We'd be easily in the single digits if not negative numbers.

It was so cold today that when I went out for a cigarette I started coughing before lighting up!

It's been awhile .. in fact, the air was so dry, the FLOOR shocked me at work this morning ... everything I touched with the slightest hint of metal shocked the beegeezus out of me ...

High Temperature was only 39º, and the 2:00 pm (lowest RH value of the day) was 13% humidity.

single digits would be an absolute bet w/out southerly flow .. already a hint of S flow here tonight, and the humidity is UP to 41% (with a 12º dewpoint. Quite a rise in TD's in just 8-12 hours w/out anything to lock down the AH in the East.)
