Yeah... the low goes 50-100 miles more to the north and your in business and I am moreso. :)

On that map... Atlanta would get a "little" snow, his words.

Oh, itf it were only true! Im not going to even mention it to the kids until it looks more definite for here in SE La.
Does this met think this scenario is a real possibility or do you think he is showing for ratings?

Oh yes he does... He's been in the business for 25 years.

They are #1 in the ratings book already so he doesn't have to do it for that.

His video update is great... updated early in the morning and around 3pm in the afternoon.

http://video.wjla.com/jamesspann/spann.wmv

He really talks about it in-depth there.

I love Spann, even if my media player won't play that clip. Any met that puts up a map like that for Christmas Eve in the Deep South gets my vote.

Our time is now! Carpe Diem! It's like the Superbowl of winter wx events here on the coast. Or something.

Been wrestling with the choice of Christmas with the folks in Faynam or Statesboro. It would be the first white Christmas for the young'un (and my first since childhood in Tulsa.)

He sounded really negative this morning. That map was made late last night while he was waiting for Football to go off. He didn't even sound good about the chances in South Alabama.
