Lost in all the snow talk....

...is the very real probability of some VERY cold air in the Deep South. In fact, the cold air is a certainty, almost, at this point. It's already been colder this year than anything we saw last year...and winter's officially just begun.

That being said, I want the snow as much as anybody. :D

But hey, it looks like Western Washington has a chance at an Arctic Outbreak this coming Sunday and Monday (which would prolong into the rest of next week), along with tons of moisture. 8-)

Yes we are talking 20's and maybe even teens in some areas of the deep South that do not normally experience it. That in and of itself could be devastating to some if they are not prepared for it.

Like you aI am wishing for SNOW too, but we do need to be sure that our homes and families and pets and plants are as ready as we can make them for this onslaught of cold.
