Sudden Snow/Ice Development West of Dallas

#1 Postby AggieSpirit » Wed Dec 22, 2004 4:34 am

Take a look at this radar from Intellicast:
http://www.intellicast.com/Local/USLoca ... e&pid=none

Not sure how much of that is reaching the ground, but the intensity and spread of that system moving toward us in Dallas is looking promising.

Just saw the latest update is a 1/2 to 1 inch of snow on the grassy areas for the Dallas metro area. It is 39 degrees here at my house, and dropping still.

I am not expecting anything, but that storm in west Texas looks to be developing at a good pace.

Looks like Dallas is getting snow also. Could see 1-3 inches in the metroplex. Snow advisory and wind advisory are in effect for the Dallas Fort Worth area.
