Usually when it snows here, we get that wet slushy stuff. Today, we started out with wet slushy snow and it gradually became more powder in composition. Looking out my business's window over the prairie here at Westlake, you can see the snow getting kicked up by the strong north winds, much like sand. Pretty unusual site here. The powder even swirls a bit.
We have not had a lot of accumulation, but today has still been exciting and a great start for Winter 2004. I am hoping for more snow events before the spring!
