This satellite loop looks very promising for anyone looking
winter precip in the north central GOM.

What I see is there's a slot of dry air moving in from the north behind that plume of moisture. What wintry precip we get we'll have to get it quick IMO.

That is not what I'm hearing for the NWS.

Local met says chance for wintery precip thru tomorrow afternoon. Even some freezing rain :grr: in that as well tonight into tomorrow AM.


C'mon I want ALL SNOW -- none of this sleet crap!
