It's not much but it's something we don't get that often down here. :D

Merry White Christmas Southerners!

Make an account on Photobucket and post the pics there. Your pics aren't showing up because the bandwidth Geocities gives you is very limited.[/url]

I would like to see your pics as my husbands family is from around Reserver.

Thanks for the pictures, LAwxgal. I wish I had a digital camera, so I could you the pictures of our snow. We had even more accumalation here in Schriever than you did. We had at least an inch or more on the ground. It snowed pretty heavy all day. We had enough for snowball fights and frosty. The snow started for us around a little after noon as we were sitting down for lunch. It just stopped about 5:30 or so. It is starting to melt already. The temp is now 33 degrees. We did not go above freezing all day today. I am glad you got your snow. This has been the best Christmas present for a weather nut like me. Who knows? We still got cold for January and February coming. Maybe it will happen again instead of us having to wait another 15 years!

I saw some pictures out of Morgan City earlier, it was a winter wonderland down there. The precip just had too hard of a time making it to Lafayette. Luckily we at least saw some sleet and snow flurries and there's even still sleet accumulated in the valleys of the roof. I'd say we had a 10% white Christmas ;).
