8pm SE Mass update

#1 Postby Dave C » Sun Dec 26, 2004 8:26 pm

Snow picking up in earnest with visibilities around quarter a mile with winds gusting to 40mph. Coastal front has set up just west of me(31deg locally) with mid 20s just 10 miles west of my area. 2.5 inches as of now on the ground.

There is right now one BIG CSI band running from, just east of Block island through Barnstable and Plymouth counties. probably 1-2"/hr snowfall rates under that. the heaviest totals should be confined to these areas sicne the band has been sitting there for quite awhile now.
