How Do You Spell Idiot?

#1 Postby TazzyD » Tue Dec 28, 2004 1:15 pm

I spell it T-a-z-z-y-D. :comment: My oldest son stopped by yesterday and I met him at the bottom of our hill since we were afraid his truck might get stuck in the driveway. Even though the drive finally got plowed Sunday evening, it's still pretty slick at the top. He has a Weimaraner that he takes everywhere with him. He let his dog out of the truck to frolick in the snow while we are visiting in a parking lot of a bed & breakfast at the bottom of the hill. I once had a dog that was killed on that highway at the bottom of our hill so I go completely mental when I see a dog near it. I grab my 80 lb canine grandchild by his collar when I thought he was going to make a dash toward the road. Bad idea! Why in the world I thought one arm of my 49 yr old, 90 lb. body could stop the running momentum of an 80 lb., 2 yr old pup I have no idea. :sled: Up I went like a kite and down I came like a wrecking ball!   At first I didn't know if the pain came from my arm or my bruised ego. Today my shoulder and upper arm are so sore I can't raise it more than a foot from the side of my torso. I am such a dork! Oh well, I guess :Chit:  I'm sure both my arm and ego will feel better in a few days. :P

Ouch indeed - sounds like something I would have done too, without even thinking!

Cringing for you and wish I could give you a ice pack, some comfort food, etc. Tazzy.

Hope you feel better soon!

Some muscle relaxants and an extended visit from the Captain (Morgan, that is) is just what the doctor would order. Feel better soon! :)
